Now described as 'the largest blockchain festival in the world', the 2018 edition of the Future Blockchain Summit saw more than 8100 attendees, and organizers expect more in 2019. The Future Blockchain Summit is the world’s first city-hosted blockchain festival, launched in 2018 and hosted by the Smart Dubai organization.
It is a way to the most recent innovative thinking and applications in blockchain, and an inspirational meeting ground for industry leaders and start-ups from the blockchain ecosystem.
New to the 2019 event are education and retail sections, while the conference is split into 10 tracks, covering finance ,keynote addresses from local and global experts, healthcare, 'hot topics',
logistics, and much more.
The interest in blockchain activity in Dubai is being championed by the govt itself; with city planning to become the primary blockchain-powered government.
This year the anticipated no. of Attendees is 14000+, 175+ Startups and Businesses from 130 +Countries with 120+Speakers.

In 2018, visitors to the summit witnessed the launch of MOBI, a revolutionary open source platform led by a collaboration between BMW, Ford, GM, IBM and Accenture.
