A new study has disclosed that, while businesses are considering blockchain adoption, overall they do not feel able to implement the technology. The survey was conducted by software development firm Globant and revealed on February. 19.

The report says that 64 % of organizations are intent on investing in blockchain solutions to boost their internal operations, whereas solely 46 % of respondents feel able to deploy the technology.

Out of 61 % of organizations that are already researching blockchain, solely 28 % have chosen a blockchain provider. As per the survey, the majority of decision-makers are still investigating the technology and examinating vendors, and haven't however outlined their stance on blockchain tech.

To prepare the study, the researchers reportedly surveyed 679 senior-level decision makers used within the fields of marketing, IT and operations within the u. s. throughout first quarter of 2018.

Earlier this month, a TD Bank survey disclosed that 90 % of treasury and finance professionals assume that blockchain and distributed ledger technology (DLT) can absolutely have an effect on the payments business. Per the survey, solely 14 % of the respondents said that their organization has training methods for blockchain.

A survey by the world Blockchain Business Council revealed last Jan revealed that 63 % of respondents believe that senior business executives have a poor understanding of blockchain technology. 30 % think about their knowledge of the emerging technology as “average.” The remaining 7 % described senior executive understanding of blockchain as “good.”
