It has been called “a horrible idea” by a security expert, but West Virginia will still be introducing a blockchain-based mobile voting app to make it easier for military personnel stationed abroad to cast their votes. Reportedly, after a successful pilot phase, the voting app may be used by all of West Virginia’s 55 counties during the upcoming midterm elections in November.
