Stephen Innes, a Wall Street analyst with over 25 years of experience, recently said the "intense, intense scrutiny" of fraudulent activities in the cryptocurrency market and lack of proper "regulatory oversight" has kept institutional investors on the sidelines. He also said retail investors, who currently make up the majority of crypto market participants, are waiting for added support before they invest further in digital currencies.
