Blockchain E-Voting  planned to Pilot in June by  Moscow Student Council

Authorities of Moscow are reaching to pilot blockchain-based electronic pick in university student council elections in late June 2019, establishing strategies that the city’s mayoral election is also next to use, Russian news organisation TASS reportable on may 6.

According to the report, the project is about to be tested with the support of the capital of the Russian Federation Department of information Technology (DIT) and therefore the Moscow town election commission (Mosgorizbirkom).

DIT deputy head Artem Kostyrko disclosed that technical specifications for the pilot program can move to Mosizbirkom in period for approval. Once the mandatory legislation is passed and therefore the commission approves the specifications, the dit can launch the program publically, Kostyrko expressed.
