Turkish Bahçeşehir University (BAU) has allegedly opened a blockchain focus at Boston's Northeastern University (NEU) to supply educational help on blockchain innovation, Daily Sabah gives an account of May 7.
Apart from informational support, the BAU–NEU Blockchain Laboratory's objective is to apply for funds within the U. S., the european Union and Turkey, so boosting Turkey's presence within the blockchain market and attract specialists in the field.
Commenting on the cooperation, Chair of the BAU Board of Trustees Enver Yücel stated that he would additionally wish to begin blockchain-related master and doctoral education schemes in partnership with the Turkish Exporter's Assembly. Bora Erdamar, director of BAU’s BlockchainIST Center, added:
"[Blockchain] can directly change all sectors from supply to trade, from education to health, from energy to agriculture wherever we'd like to stay our products and people's info in an exceedingly safe environment."
Blockchain technology has been gaining traction within the educational space. Recently, 2 South Korean universities, Yonsei University and Pohang University of Science and Technology, collaborated to develop a complete Blockchain field with its own cryptocurrency. At intervals the initiative, a student-centered project aims to extend daily cryptocurrency usage.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kolkata and coaching platform TalentSpirit began put together giving a sophisticated program in fintech and blockchain technology in Feb.
