Coinone global Exchange (CGEX), a Malta-based crypto exchange launched by major South Korean exchange Coinone, can terminate its service in mid-September.

Less than a year operational

According to an announcement on August. 12, the exchange can shut down services at 2:00 a.m. UTC on Sept. 18. CGEX at first launched in Oct 2018.

CGEX placed a services termination notice on the main page of its web site, adding that it's determined that it will now not maintain service.

In the notice, CGEX warned its customers that all assets on user accounts ought to be withdrawn by the deadline, as any withdrawals can now not be accessible after that time. Personal user information, together with dealing details, are destroyed consequently with the end of service.

News of CGEX’s termination follows previous notices of temporary termination of trading and transaction services on the platform.
