What is empowr looking for? 

empowr is looking for an experienced technical recruiter to join our growing team full-time, on-site. We're looking for someone who has perfected the art of ensuring hiring manager happiness. You'll rely on experience to support clients through the hiring process while also actively recruiting and sourcing on some of our toughest roles. 

As a Lead Technical Recruiter, you will:

  • Lead the growth of empowr's engineering team across a range of positions including Software Engineer, QA, Product Manager and many more as we scale and grow.
  • Partner closely with Hiring Managers to drive comprehensive recruiting strategies
  • Evaluate, streamline, and optimize current hiring processes
  • Analyze data to make informed decisions and improve recruiting efficacy
  • Think creatively and bring an innovation framework to talent acquisition
  • Partner with Finance and HR to develop long-term growth plans
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process for strategic/ leadership roles
  • Work with and mentor more junior sources and recruiters to help them expand their skills, increase their productivity, and grow!

What experience should I bring to the table?

  • Has 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Knows how to get familiar with a company and become their advocate, talk tech, and use lots of clever sourcing tips.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can mentor our more junior team members (when we are ready to bring them onto the team) and bring skills to the table to help us improve our existing processes.
  • Is smart, quick on your feet, and looking to help our team grow and thrive.
  • Is a strong team player - you're professional, accountable, and reliable. You know how to coax the best out of others without sacrificing quality or productivity.
  • Experience sourcing and closing profiles ranging from Junior to Management positions
  • Ability to qualify a candidate and understand what each candidate brings to the table, as well as connect that candidate with the right opportunity at empowr
