We are hiring a Product Manager to drive the strategy for expanding and retaining the Crunchbase user base. The ideal candidate is passionate about crafting an experience that keeps users active and engaged, and has experience driving initiatives that increase customer acquisition, drive retention, and reduce churn. Product at Crunchbase

The Crunchbase Product team is responsible for owning and executing the vision of the Crunchbase platform, and the creation of new products that provide our users with various mechanisms to access our data.

As a Crunchbase Product Manager, you will:

•  Work in tandem with the CEO and Product team to execute the Crunchbase roadmap and vision

•  Partner with Engineering to develop technical requirements and determine product priorities

•  Drive the ideation, planning, development, and launch of innovative new data products

•  Drive product requirement definition, product planning, and product design of new features

•  Lead SEO efforts and ensure Crunchbase retains a strong SEO footprint

•  Engage with customers and partners to identify market opportunities, deliver roadmap updates, and get product feedback

•  Facilitate and manage user testing with active Crunchbase users, including members of the venture capital, sales, and business development communities

•  Track key funnel metrics and prioritize areas for improvement

•  Understand the competitive landscape and evaluate market trends to better inform product development

•  Partner with design to develop friendly, easy-to-use user experiences

•  Research, analyze, and ultimately define a competitive pricing strategy for all Crunchbase products

•  Partner with product marketing to develop a go-to-market strategy and facilitate a successful and impactful product launches

Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience in a product management role within a SaaS or consumer enterprise software company

•  Experience managing the development and adoption of widely used products

•  Great technical decision-making -- you know a bad technical path when you see one, and can push back when appropriate

•  Ability to determine product prioritization and manage trade-offs by synthesizing customer information while collaborating with internal stakeholders

•  Experience in defining a company’s growth objectives, and driving key product-driven growth tactics

•  Experience with optimizing websites to improve SEO

•  Excellent communication skills  -- speaking to internal teams and users comes with ease

•  Incredibly coachable personality -- you are constantly looking for opportunities to improve your craft

•  Previous experience in a high-growth startup requiring you to wear multiple hats

•  Experience using agile methodologies to deliver products and technologies is preferred

•  Prior work experience and/or education in a Computer Science or engineering capacity
