We're looking for a Front-end Application Developer to build user-facing applications for the Lightning Network ecosystem. The Front-end Application Developer will be contributing to an open source project with a growing number of active contributors, and will also be a primary driver for the design and development of the project. An ideal candidate will have experience contributing to open source projects and leading software development projects.

We are looking for individuals who pick things up quickly and who can develop skills in our interdisciplinary space. Development experience or strong technical understanding of Bitcoin, other digital currencies and cryptography in general is preferred.

Roles:

• Writing front-end mobile and desktop UI for our software (React).

• Integrating and building APIs for the ecosystem.

• Stakeholder interaction with user-facing products in the Bitcoin/blockchain ecosystem; ensuring our UX is compatible and enables individuals and companies building on Lightning.

Skills:

• Strong Javascript expertise and experience building with React and React Native .

• Have experience with empathetic, human-centered design in software.

• Demonstrate solid engineering practices and processing, such as a solid testing methodology and documentation.

• Ability to take ownership of projects.

• Prior contribution to open source projects a plus.
